Nonprofit Organizations Nippon Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals

Here is an idea for animal welfare to create harmony of a mentally and physically happy environment for animals where there is no unreasonable pain and stress to them.

Animal welfare: Five freedoms
  1. Free from hunger and thirst
  2. Free from unpleasantness
  3. Free from pain, injury and sickness
  4. Free from fear and control
  5. Free to show natural habits

In advanced countries such as Germany and the UK, a law prohibits the separation of children less than 8-week age from their parents and it prohibits to sell live newborn animals based upon the animal welfare and scientific/medical reasons.
Also, for both of stockbreeding animals and experimental animals, animal welfare is promoted under a surveillance system that the animals are not unnecessarily injured.

We are communicating with animal protection groups and organizations around the world, aiming at the prevention of abuse to animals, promoting rescue activities and enlightenment activities.
To prevent that people's selfishness from harming the environment for animals and to make them treat animals' well being as important, please work together cooperatively. The greatness and moral progress of a country can be shown by it treats animals.

"The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated."
